For stories labeled True, we review any attached sources (news articles, official reports) before publishing. If no checkable source exists, the story is labeled 'Unverified' instead.
The limits of our review
We are not a full criminal or investigative-journalism fact-checking body. A 'True' label means a referenceable source exists — not a final confirmation of every detail in the story.
