How we classify stories
Every story published carries a clear label: True (a checkable source exists), Unverified (a personal account not independently confirmed), Legend (a story passed down over time), or Fiction (entirely invented).
Review before publishing
No content — whether from our own team or reader submissions — is published without an editorial review checking writing quality, clear classification, and compliance with our content guidelines.
Updates and corrections
If a detail in a published story turns out to be inaccurate, we update it and clearly note the update date on the page.
