How Do We Tell a True Story From a Legend?
Four categories, not one
We classify every story into one of four categories: true, fiction, unverified, or legend. This distinction isn't a formality — it's the core of the platform's credibility.
When we use each label
'Unverified' means the story is published as the storyteller reported it, without independent confirmation. 'Legend' means it has been passed down over time with no single clear source. 'True' is used only when a checkable source is available.
